Since 2001, GeoDecisions and Gannett Fleming have partnered with the U.S. Transportation Command and Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command Transportation Engineering Agency (SDDCTEA) to provide the Ports for National Defense (PND) program with seaport throughput study updates and GIS services. These projects facilitate surface deployment and distribution analyses and support transportation engineering. We provide the Department of Defense (DOD) community with accurate and responsive seaport capability data, vulnerability assessments, and projected workload analyses to meet defense peacetime and contingency movement needs.

On November 4 - 6, 2015, the 2015 Highway Data Conference (HiDaC) was hosted in Austin, Texas.  The conference was co-sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration, and the Texas Department of Transportation.  The conference provided an opportunity for those with an interest in collecting, maintaining, and reporting highway data, and share personal experiences, perspectives, best practices and innovations within the field.  The primary focus was the Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS), which all states are required to submit data each year.
