Richmond Times-Dispatch Names GeoDecisions a 2019 Top Workplace

May 6, 2019 (Harrisburg, Pa.) The Richmond Times-Dispatch has named GeoDecisions® a 2019 Top Workplace. The international geospatial technology company is among just 65 businesses in the Richmond region to receive recognition in the sixth annual competition.

Selection of the Top Workplaces winners is based upon the results of workplace surveys in which employees rate their employer on a variety of topics, including the company’s leadership, pay and benefits, mission and values, professional development, work-life balance, community involvement, and diversity and inclusion. The companies that scored the highest locally and exceeded national benchmarks made the list. GeoDecision’s Richmond, Virginia, office has 45 employees, placing the firm in the “Small Companies” category.

GeoDecisions emphasizes value for the individual, a client-centered approach, innovation for competitive advantage, and winning with integrity for long-term business growth. The firm acquired WorldView Solutions, 20-year-old Shockoe Slip-based geographic information systems consulting firm, in October 2018. Though operating under a new name, the same people and culture remain at the firm’s Canal Crossing office.
