Trent Park Announced as GeoDecisions President
/Building on a successful career of driving innovation within organizations through geographic information systems (GIS) and geospatial technology solutions, Trent Park, GISP, has been named the new president of GeoDecisions, the technology division of Gannett Fleming.
With nearly 25 years of digital transformation, GIS, data management, and enterprise technology experience, he has successfully consulted with state governments, private and public companies, and the U.S. Department of Defense to design and implement transformational systems to leverage spatial, cloud services, and emerging technologies that optimize business process efficiencies.
As president, Park will be responsible for leading our premier geospatial consulting team, focusing on delivering sound and effective technology solutions to enhance our clients’ operational efficiencies and empower them to realize the full value of their digital asset portfolios. In his new role, Park will promote strategy, innovation, and growth through meaningful work for our clients, which is in alignment with Gannett Fleming’s corporate vision of being a driving force in improving our communities and sustaining our world.

He believes in leading by example, fostering a culture of trust and transparency, and empowering team members to contribute to GeoDecisions’ collective success.
Park joined GeoDecisions through our acquisition of WorldView Solutions in 2018. Previously serving as a senior vice president of consulting services, his approach to fostering inspiration and collaboration led to early success in applying machine learning technologies, using crowd-sourcing strategies, and leveraging emerging cloud services and alternative data models.

Park received his Master of Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and his Bachelor of Liberal Studies from the University of Mary Washington.
