Super Bowl History Dashboard and 2020 COVID-19 Data

2020 has been an unprecedented year for most, including the National Football League (NFL). In celebration of Super Bowl LV, our team of geospatial experts, including Ohan Oumoudian and James Burns, put together an interactive dashboard for football fans allowing them to track Super Bowl statistics for their favorite (and maybe not so favorite) teams, as well as view what players and teams were impacted by COVID-19.
The dashboard is easy to navigate. Just follow a few simple steps:
Select view by clicking Team Status in the top right-hand corner.
Click on a team on the left to view:
Available Player COVID-19 list data
Highlighted team location on NFL Super Bowl History Map (full map includes location of all Super Bowl games)
Win/Loss history
Location, opponent, and score info for Super Bowls played

The dashboard was created using Esri’s ArcGIS Online. Data for the dashboard has been sourced from NFL team pages and John Hopkins University. COVID-19 data was not available for all teams.
